This is lovely piece of driftwood found on the Cromer beach. It is smooth with natural holes in it and looks like a piece of golden honeycombe. I have decorated it with 3 small shells.

This piece is decorated with the word 'welcome' in thick string, and there are 2 gingham flowers at each end. It has a string hanger with two large wooden beads.

I found this lovely old piece of wood on a windswept Cromer beach-it's very weathered and has a series of natural holes along it. It's decorated with a couple of locally found shells and is hung with a thick piece of string which is also decorated with a pair of wooden beads.

It's unusual to find larger bits of wood on our beaches, and this bleached piece has been smoothed by the waves - knobbly knots still show though! I have written "home sweet home" on it in string, and then painted it, and the string 'handle' has a 'hag-stone' on it (a stone with a naturally-made hole ).

This lovely piece has a colour-wash of terracotta paint, and is decorated with three things I've found on the beach - a piece of metal,a hag-stone (a naturally made hole in a pebble), and a piece of wood, spelling out the word "joy" - a good message!! All around the edge are bits of rope that are also from the beach (washed of course!).
