Shells

These pieces of shell have been collected from our local Norfolk shoreline, usually after a cup of coffee at the pretty Cliff Top Café (thoughtfully open all year round-perfect for hot drinks on a cold day!). Each piece has been washed smoothed by the action of the waves, and, after being cleaned and dried is decorated with crayons and gel pens by my talented daughter. Each shell piece is then charged with Reiki, making the perfect gift and talisman! The designs come in three groups: A. These are seaside themes – seagulls, crab-boats that sail from our coast, starfish, crabs and even the ‘99’ ice cream gets drawn complete with its chocolate flake! Chose ‘seaside’ and you will be sent one from this theme. B. These are random pictures that include hearts, flowers, stars, horseshoes and other such pictures. Chose ‘random’ and take a chance! C. These are angels, and are a bit more expensive, because they take more work in the drawing stage, and we also have to work harder to find the nicer, larger shells!!! Each shell comes in a cellophane packet, and is tied with a piece of coloured raffia; the angel shells are tied with gold ribbon.

P.S. our local shoreline is under threat of erosion, and the Government is not attempting to rectify this! They are quite happy for the cliffs to drop away, and then the land, roads, houses and even my favourite coffee shop etc will all follow suit.
